Opal Schafpate 15

Opal Schafpate is Opal's annual series designed to support German sheep farmers and make sure they are properly compensated for the wonderful fleece they provide us with. The program creates sponsorship packages for the individual sheep and then Opal buys the yarn and dyes it in the classic self-striping Opal fashion.

This year's collection is named Under Trees and features lovely nature-themed colourways.  Each 100g ball has enough yarn for 1 to 2 pairs of socks (depending on the size of the feet). 

Sock yarns are wonderfully versatile and are the perfect choice for knitting mittens, gloves and hats as well as socks.

Like many of the Opal shade ranges, this is a limited edition... once it’s gone it’s gone.

Care: Machine washable but it is always wise to follow the care instructions on the ball band.
